Liz learned Transcendental Meditation in 1967 and gained so much from the technique that in January 1970 went to Rishikesh, India to train under Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to become a teacher.
She has been an accredited teacher of TM since April 1970 in Watford, Harrow, and Hampshire since 1973 on returning from working for Maharishi in Europe, at his invitation. Today she runs the Hampshire TM Centre.
The Hampshire TM Centre offers free talks on Transcendental Meditation which are normally held regularly over Zoom. Please see details below. There are now two different ways of learning the technique. The first is face to face on the day of learning, then the use of a teaching app followed by a link with the teacher in the evening for a meditation check. The knowledge is the same for both ways of learning except by using the app you can watch the videos as many times as you like within 10 days after learning. The traditional way consists of four 1.5 hour sessions, over four consecutive days, then one 10 days later. We thoroughly recommend taking the 6 month course with one session a month after learning and the course fee is included in the original course fee.
